Goal celebrations
Does anyone else find some goal celebrations cringe worthy? On Friday night Antonio said he had one up his sleeve and I just shuddered as I find them a bit embarrassing to be honest. I remember against Man U in the last game at the Boleyn he equalized and went to do one and someone just pulled him away as if to say "No time for that sh!t, we have a game to win". However, Alli and Son have their little routine which makes me feel physically sick. Not just because they are Spurs, but they are grown men and look like they are playing patter cake or something. Anyone else feel the same?

Oh, and someone told me recently that all these players who raise their joined thumbs and first fingers were making a heart shape! I'd always assumed it was their graphic admission to being a real cunt?

Hate the pre-rehearsed shit, so vain and unmanly. Though an exception might be Adebayor's (?) salute, which reflects respect for the fans rather than childish egomania.

I must admit I prefer spontaneous eruptions of joy to rehearsed celebrations. That being said, I do find the feeling in fish celebration quite amusing.

I'd be ashamed of Daniel Sturridge ever joining WHU because of his goal celebrations alone.

I love goal celebrations. Antonio's has been by far the best for me. I do like Carroll's as you see how much it means to him!

Re: Goal celebrations
I just like to see a bit of genuine excitement followed by getting the ball back to the centre spot ASAP.
No dancing, no preconceived ROUTINES and certainly not that thing Alli does which I think is the worst thing ever seen on a football pitch.

Actually dancing and cavorting is only allowed when we score in injury time to go 5 goals ahead.

Bobby Moore just strolling away and showing no emotion was the best I have seen.

Don;t like excessive celebrations for routine goals but will accept anything if we score.

Liked Martin Allen's celebrations. Especially his one v Watford when he went to celebrate In front of a empty section of the south bank.

Pre planned routines make you look like an utter utter cunt

I loved how, for his 2nd, Ayew ran off away from the WHU fans, but Rice ran in the complete opposite direction, TOWARDS them.

Grumpster

I laughed ou tloud watching the highlights again today when I realsied how fast he must have run the length of the pitch to celebrate with Oggy. Ogbonna had only just reached the touchline when Adrian got there.

Re: Goal celebrations
Don't really get some of them, but they won't be annoying me anytime soon.

They have started doing proper practiced routines in the NFL as well after TD's now, so not just footie players who are cock's.

Agree with the Alli one though, it's the sort of thing you see in the playground, though the blokes a cunt so makes sense he does it.

Celebrate in front of your fans is all that's needed and I did love Adrian charging in after the third.

Re: Goal celebrations
Loved the sheer elation that Ayew displayed last night when scoring each of his goals.

Tevez jumping in the crowd after scoring his first goal for us against the same cunts we played last night is a tough one to beat. Thankfully we were on the right side of the result yesterday.
